I'll second this. I have a baby boa too and just adore her. The females of any variety will get bigger than the boys so if you stick with a male, you'll be a bit better off. The Nicaraguans do stay a bit smaller as do the Hog Islands. Either of those, the males should stay around 6ft.
As someone else said, if you do your homework, you'll do fine. Boas are really different from BPs and they 'feel' different in your hands too. I love handling Peaches. She is very curious when out and about. I love how they seem to enjoy handling and how they 'cling' to you more. Very interactive snakes.![]()
