Help Please
Okay, so my big girl laid a clutch of 10 eggs. All of them fertile, so one of them was dyeing, but i left it cauz i still saw some veigns in it when i candeled the egg. Now i went into my incubator and it was dead, so i attemted to detatch it because some of the mold was spreading to another egg, but after every carfully wiggiling it off for about 40 minuets, the last peice broke the other egg open. Some of the yolk came out off the egg so i did what i previously learned and covered it with a bandaid. Now im worried that if this egg dies, it will mold and kill the other eggs because its in the middle attached to 4 other eggs. This is not my first year breeding but this never happened to me before. What do i do?
The eggs are in a cooler incubator with heat tape at 88 degrees with vermiculite as a substright. I incubated my clutch of 14 eggs from last year in this same incubator and they all made it. They arent far along at all.. only 3 weeks...

Sorry to hear that. In the future or if you have any other issues with eggs going bad/dying, you can use waxed dental floss to "cut" through the egg and remove it from the rest of the clutch. Some people just leave them, mold and all and apparently don't have any issues as a result. Me, I wouldn't risk that, but each to their own. Good luck and hope that helps or someone with more knowledge than I chimes in.

Make sure the damaged egg is sealed properly, if it dies leave it be, you can any mold off the attached egg(s) by using a q-tip, and/or dusting with an antigungal powder. If worse comes to worse, you can cut away the bag egg. Please do not try seperating this will just cause more damage.

I wouldn't worry about it. As long as it is not still leaking I would bet it will be fine.

Re: Help Please
It was a a really bad rip, towards the bottom of the egg =( the egg deflated a bit so im almost positive it will die, but with difficulty i was able to candle a bit to say and i think i still see veins and this happened last night.
Now to Dr Del, im not that sure what the hell came out. i wanna say it was yolk but it wasn't yellow or clear. It was a white substance but it was not spilling out just some came out with fore when the egg broke. , it was more like a solid white goo. The only other thing i can think it would be is part of the un-developed snake, but i have no clue =(
