My male with a pretty pastel:

Wow! He is one super nice clown! And might I add, super sweet pastel!

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm really hoping to add a 2011 male clown this year or next year, but while I adore the reduced-pattern ones the nice drippy pattern is impressive too -- and as Russ pointed out, seems to make a more "interesting" looking lesser-clown. Though I will say, while I like "drippy," I don't so much like "spotty," if you know what I mean.

I'll probably go with reduced-pattern BHB line, because those are the ones I tend to really flip for, but I'll hope to add both in the future.

IMO the more important thing than the pattern is the color. A lot of adult clowns seem to really brown out and just look kinda drab as they get older. I am hoping to find one that will keep its high contrast into adulthood.

How about reduced with a moderate amount of drippage?

Here's my drippy reduced female from last years breeding. Can't wait to get her up to breeding size.

I love the clown. Reduced is my preference.

The caramel glow clowns and lesser clowns are my favorite.

Yes please! And "drippage" should be a new part of the clown keepers vocabulary.
