I think it's hard to do better than the Dumeril's personality. Mine is a great big pile of fluff. I adore her.

I'm caring for a friend's BCCs (on a permanent basis). They are big (ones 9 feet the other is right at 11) and beautiful. They are easy to care for though the female is a little moody. My problem is I like to hold my critters and they are hard to handle. They are heavy, strong, and very inquisitive (they don't stay still).

I have no experience with the Hog Islands. Can't offer any info there. I do hope to add a BCI to my family someday. Anyways- Good luck with what ever you choose. They are all amazing as far as I'm concerned
