haha!! That's great! I can't wait for Peaches to get some size on her. She's so cute right now though. And it took us awhile to get used to that 'in-your-face' attitude too. They really are curious creatures! Glad to hear she's doing well!

I think I would've been more comfortable if we had gotten her as a baby and she put her face all up in ours, but she's close to twice the size in every way from Loki (who's about 3 feet and as thick as a paper towel tube) so it gets a little intimidating. We just stay still and let her figure things out herself. We love her to death, I'm so glad we found her!! I've got two scaly children to pamper now.

Today she decided her hides weren't good enough and sat half on top of them, half stretched on the ground. They're cut-to-size shoeboxes, so she effectively crushed them down quite a bit, then went back inside them. Guess she felt the need to redecorate.

Congrats on your first rescue. I rescued my first Red Blood Python, found her on craigslist for an awesome deal. I agree, there are many reptiles out there that are abandoned. Well good luck with your new RTB xFenrir.

Aaand the feeding fun begins. I only have mice atm so I'm giving her three. The first one she took like a lady, right on the head. The second one I guess she wanted to get creative, so she nailed it right on the side and ripped it open. She's now attempting to swallow it sideways. I'm confident she'll figure things out.
