ASF genetics chart WITH photos! (WIP)

This is still a work in progress, so if you have any photos of the varieties on this list that are missing photos, please post them and I'll try to add them, or get a mod to do it.

For anyone who is interested, here is a pretty useful, and to my knowledge acurate ASF genetics chart.

    Agouti A-
Fur is ticked several different colours including shades of brown and black, and also orange. The bases of the hairs will be darker, and the tips lighter. The bellies tend to be much lighter than the entire coat, but still ticked. Eyes are always black.

    Cinnamon A- bb
Fur is ticked several different colours including shades of brown and orange, and also yellow. The bases of the hairs will be darker brown, and the tips may be orange, red or yellow in colour. The bellies are lighter than the entire coat, but still ticked. Eyes will be black.

    Argente A- B- pp
Fur is ticked (pink eye diluted form of agouti) with a light bluish gray under coat, and a creamy colour on the tips. Bellies may appear to be white. Eyes will be pink. Sometimes called 'albino'.
**NOTE** These are NOT albino. There is no albino (c/c) gene known to exist in ASFs as of this time.

    Cinnamon-Argente A- bb pp
Fur is ticked (pink eye diluted form of cinnamon) with a light bluish gray under coat, and a creamy colour on the tips. Bellies may appear to be white. Eyes will be pink. Nearly identical to Argente, unless you hold one next to the other. The Cinnamon argente will appear more gray or silver, where-as the argente may appear more orange when compared to a cinnamon argente.
**NOTE** These are NOT albino. There is no albino (c/c) gene known to exist in ASFs as of this time.

(cinn argente and normal argente side by side)

    Ruby Eyed A- B- P- "ru""ru"
Fur sill be similar to agouti or cinnamon, usually found somewhere in between the two shades. Eyes will be ruby.

    Ruby Eyed Cinnamon A- bb P- "ru""ru"

    Ruby Eyed Argente A- B- pp "ru""ru"

    Ruby Eyed Cinnamon-Argente A- bb pp "ru""ru"

    Head-spot variegation -- -- -- -- Ww
Markings typically manifest in a three stripe pattern. One on each cheek, and one on the top of the head. ASFs may also have a solid head with a spot or stripe only on the top of the head.

    Saddle variegation -- -- -- -- WW
Markings typically manifest in a 'saddle', or triangle pattern on the back of the ASF. The amount of white can vary.

    Platinum A- B- P- "Ru"- W*W*
Coat will be solid white, with black or gray ears. Eyes will be black.

Black Eyed White A- bb P- "Ru"- W*W*
Coat will be solid white, with white ears. Eyes will be black.

Pink Eyed White A- B- pp "Ru"- W*W*
Coat will be solid white, with white ears. Eyes will be pink.
**NOTE** These are NOT albino. There is no albino (c/c) gene known to exist in ASFs as of this time.

    Ruby Eyed White A- B- P- "ru""ru" W*W*
Coat will be solid white, with white ears. Eyes will be ruby.
**NOTE** These are NOT albino. There is no albino (c/c) gene known to exist in ASFs as of this time.

    High White Head-spot variegation -- -- -- -- W*w

    High White Saddle variegation -- -- -- -- W*W

If anyone has good photos of these varieties, PLEASE share so that we can add photos of each variety!
UPDATE: Any varieties without a photo or without (photo coming soon) posted on them, need photos! If you have one of these varieties, or think you do, please let me know, and I can identify it, and your photo may be used for reference here!

    Thanks!
