I Sure Hope She Is Preggers!

I was starting to give up on having any clutches this season. I've been really busy with school and just haven't had a lot of extra time to devote to the snakes. So I was really surprised/pleased this week when I realized my best hope for the season is showing me some good signs. She just went through a REALLY long shed cycle that ended this week. She also refused a meal this weak, which is something this girl almost never does unless there is a reason behind it. Finally, she has been spending a lot of time coiled up on the warm side.

The picture doesn't do justice to how large this girl is. She maxed out my scale (2500 + grams) over a year ago and is still growing.

Her boyfriend, in contrast is a paltry 550 grams.

The female is a fairly standard morph. The male, not so much. Let's spice up the thread by seeing if you can guess the pairing. Also, here is a lock up pic from earlier in the season. You can sort of see the size difference, though this one makes the male look larger than he is:

If she was eating up to this week, then shes not gravid. Females stop eating 1-2 months before ovulation. The shed you just had was a pre ovy shed.

Keep pairing her and palpate each week.
