    Do you think she'll lay?

Noticed a week or so ago that this girl has gotten brighter, plumper(despite not eating in 2-3 months), and was wrapped around her water bowl when I opened up the tub. Her and her sister are the first "bred" snakes I've ever dealt with so I'm not toatally sure on the process they go through or what to look for. What I do know is she looks different...you think she'll have eggs? She's bred to a spider..

This is her sister, and they used to look indentical

    Tonight

By looking you can't tell for sure. Her sister does look nice and plump and I see the color change. Watch the brighter one for ovulation. A vet can take a radiograph I believe its called, its like an xray but better and u can see everything inside
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

If they glow they usually go.

Judging by the plump butt on one and the tail suck on the other id say they both very well be gravid(or ovulating/building.)

My lady went from build right into ovy so maybe your girls are doing the same.
Just remember after ovy they lose the thickness and then a couple weeks later(sometimes less) they shed and a month later(give or take) they lay.

Good luck and be patient! Those girls look like they wont be disappointing you!

Neither of them has shed or eaten since I got them on April 2nd, I don't think I'm going to be able to use their sheds as a good timeline helper lol
