That what's I first thought that it was but his eye wasn't cloudy at all like when they have retained eyecaps.

That gray area you are seeing around the periphery of the eye really looks like the rolled up edge you sometimes see with retained spectacles.

It's not actually gray, it's more of an off white actually. When I would check his cage temp and would look at him quick I thought it gave him a slightly human quality look.

Yeah, I checked for mites when I brought him home. He's CB if that information helps at all.
