ball python respiratory infection
Hi guys I'm new to this site I hope this is in the right form ok my baby ball opened it's mouth 2 times and I really got worried and just right now as I was typing he did it again I got this snake for lllreptile.com and just only had it for a day and I'm a afraid it was a respiratory infection and my ball python is a baby I also checked it's mouth didn't see any bubbles or anything it's mouth was just pink but is this a R.l please help me I'm worried sick

Hi,
Was it sitting with its mouth open for any length of time or did it just yawn?
If you see no sign of excess mucus ( either in the snakes mouth or smeared on cage furniture), can't hear any signs of clicking, popping or wheezing when it breathes and it doesn't sit with its head elevated for long periods of time I would say you probably have nothign to worry about.

Um no it open and I'd say 2 seconds it closed it's mouth and got some water
