    Pastel Goodness (DUW)

    Hey all, I was cleaning up after the youngest in my group, a little late 2010 pastel named Agave..and decided to try out my new camera and lens on him. It's in the bathroom, away from the insane cats, so it's not top quality or anything. I love this baby and his gold and mango-y goodness. I'll get an actual light-tent and all set up later.

    Please tolerate the impending photo flood!








    "Wut?"

    * He has recently developed five pale scales on his head. Any ideas what it could be? He wasn't injured or anything, even though it looks like a scar. It could just be a few stuck scales though, but it's all velvety to the touch like their heads usually are (instead of flaky), so I can't tell if it's old shed.

    MMMMM, that little guy looks good enough to eat!

    I'd be proud to have him in my collection.

    The mark on his head looks to be nothing more than a change in the color of his scales, it happens and is nothing to worry about.

    Does that make him an intoxicant? All of my snakes are named after herbs or poisonous plants. Agave, Nettles (spider), Briar (normal), Delphinium (albino) and Larkspur the cornsnake.

    More thanks! My birthday present to myself was a Canon Rebel T3 and 100mm f2.8 macro lens. You'll be begging me to put the camera down after a while.
