Possibilities with the following.....
I have a 100% het pied male, and will be getting 3 66% het for pied females. Being new to all the genetics, and breeding ball pythons in general, i was wanting you, the experts on the matter, to break down what i could potentially expect best case and worst case scenario. This is all assuming they are successful in mating.

best case those 66% het females rove out and you get pieds in all clutches worst case would be they dont prove out and you get 50% poss hets.

Assuming all goes well, odds are that at least 2 of your females are het for pied. If they are het for pied you have a 25% chance per egg of getting a pied. With any clutch you get pieds from all the normals will be 66% probable het for pied. It can take a while to prove out a het, so you might not get any pieds your first year. I don't know what the probability would be for the babies if you don't get any pieds, but they would be at least 50% probable het for pied. Good luck!

Re: Possibilities with the following.....
worst case scenario
First season, all eggs come back looking normal. Since you have only a 1 in 4 with a 100% het to a 100% het, odds say you might miss on everything.
Second season, all eggs come back normal. Now you start to wonder. Is my male not really 100%. Are none of my females het.
You might get lucky in your first season and prove out the male and 1-2 of the females. I'm not a big proponent of just relying on luck, especially for a small breeder. Even if you do prove out, you likely have a bunch of at best 66% and 50% hets to sell.
IMO, if you want to prove out a "possible het" female, spend the money and buying the recessive morph male. At least that way you can say with assurance that all normal offspring are 100% hets. Odds are on your side when it comes to proving something out that way.
