What do you all do with your special rats? Do you breed specials to sell in addition to your feeders?

I'm glad you asked this. I was wondering the same thing. Are these colonies kept as pets or sold as feeders? My reason for asking is because if they are being sold as feeders, what importance is the coat marking? I could understand if they are being kept as pets why they would be bred for a certain trait. Just curious
