Decided on my first BP morph

So after a long debate with my girlfriend I have come to the conclusion that spending $500 on my first actual snake is not a good idea....maybe down the road when I get the hang of things but not right now. So I have decided to get a mice pastel baby. That or a spider..whatever I can find with a good pattern. I'm so excited but I have no supplies yet so I have to wait a while longer....booooo. oh well more time to research and get things right! Just felt like telling you all what's going on in my world.

Not a problem....have to get my tank assembled first. I'm hitting up the northern Berks reptile expo in Hamburg pa this weekend...maybe get a deal on some supplies. I'm holding off on the BP till everything is set.

Re: Decided on my first BP morph

Hi Kevin! I can't wait to see pictures. Remember to post here if you have any questions. I came here when I got my first BP and everyone was a huge help. Lifesavers, actually. They saved me so much stress and heartache, it is unbelievable. I think it is great that you've discussed, researched, and spent time thinking about your BP. Kudos to you!

Thanks! I have learned that its better to be educated about what your getting into then going in blind. I'm so stoked to be getting my first BP though..

Re: Decided on my first BP morph

Go for a female if you can. Back when ball pythons were much more expensive, I started with cheaper (but still just as beautiful) males. If I started with females, they would've been breedable last season. Now that prices have dropped, I've been able to get the majority of my collection to be females.
