Does anyone know any other good monitor forums out there? I love this site but the monitor forums on here is kind of dead...

It's in the Netherlands, operates in english, and is very dedicated to proper varanid husbandry. While there are some "look at my lizard" threads, the main aspects of the site include:

captive care and maintenance
reproductive efforts and successes
proper enclosure construction
health issues
varanid photography in the wild

There are many very knowledgable keepers on this site; proper sentence structure, punctuation and use of latin names ("savs" and "Niles" are not acceptable due to the multitude of common names worldwide; and the members are global) are mandatory.

I feel it is THE definitive varanid website. Well worth checking out.

Varanus.nl isnt taking new members (or weren't). Try repitczone. Its full of experienced breeders and a few experts.
