Yeah, as long as you don't smell like rat I've had no problems feeding in the same enclosure. Some people have issues when they feed live because they move and could mistake your moving hand for a rat I suppose, but I've heard cage aggression is a myth anyways. I feed mine in a rack system in their homes without issue...none of mine have ever bit me.
