    I'm looking at using Native Earth (Harlan) lab blocks for both my mice and rats. The 4018 is what a lot of people use. Do you have any thoughts on that?

    Regards,

    That's what I feed my mice and rats. I had my mice on dog food and hog feed, but they didn't produce anything for 5 months. They've been on Native Earth 4018 for two weeks now and all the females look preggers. I get it for $0.38 shipped too, which is only 8 cents a lb more than I pay for hog feed.
    They also don't stink on it at all. I keep them in 11x7 lab cages, and after 2 weeks I can barely smell anything.

    Where are you getting yours at? That's a great price.

    National Pet Pharmacy. I bought 200 lbs a few weeks ago on sale, and used a 10% off coupon. $5 flat rate shipping to anywhere too, which is why it's so cheap! I have searched for MONTHS for a resonably priced block, so when I found this place I thought it was a fluke.

    I just checked, and the sale is still going on. Here's a link to coupons too;
