My 2800 gram normal just ate for the first time in 6 months!

I am so relieved, I got her Feb 3rd and she was on shed and the guy siad she hadne eaten in a few weeks before. I was watching her weight and she lost less than 200 grams so I wasnt to worried but it was very frustrating. She had interest in every rat I put in for the last 2 months, but never struck at any of them! Anyway, hopefully she starts pounding them and gets back to 3000 grams and even bigger so she can have a dozen eggs for me next year.

I bet she wanted a boyfriend. I gave one of my females the year off because she didn't put the weight back on like I wanted her to aftyer laying last year. She stopped eating when everybody started breeding this year. She just now started eating again and she is eating like she just layed. When you open her tub you better be watching for her because she is coming out to get the rat.

That is what I was thinking. She has never been bread, the guy got her from had her for 6 years and he just got tired of her.
