    Temp gun

    Thinking about picking up a temp gun. My digital thermometer at the moment isn't doin the trick and i'm tired of cords. I would love to hear about temp guns anyone would recommend or currently use and like. thank you

    You can find them cheap on ebay also I think, just search around, it's my favorite tool

    I've been using a PE-1 (same as the PE-2 without such a large temperature range and less accurate by .2*F) for several years. It is quite possibly the most useful tool I own. Makes my life a billion times easier with cage temps, ambient temps, water temps, room temps, etc. An absolutely brilliant invention, every reptile-keeper on earth should own one.

    I went to Home Depot and got a Ryobi temp gun. It was $30.. $5 cheaper than the PE-2 I was going to get and no shipping plus it has the laser site.

    Look at Ebay. You can get Laser Infrared temp guns that range up to 700F for under $30 shipped. I been using the for a long time and their dead on with thermostat readings.
