Kind of an odd question...
Umm, I don't really know how to put this, but how common is it to see sperm plugs from a male ball python? Do you see it when they shed, just during breeding season, all the time, or not at all? I was just curious as I have never seen any sperm plugs from my male BP and he's definitely breeding size. Any thoughts?

Of all my males I have only seen/noticed a sperm plug once.

Yea as a general rule you will have to attempt to "pop" the male or you won't see them.

I've seen once stuck to a shed, and of course when you pop a snake, which I only do when I first get them. Usually it's something that you don't find unless you go looking for it.
