    Re: Spider Genetic Stripe

Your looks similar in some ways, but she lacks the dark belly flecking and still has her head pattern. I'm not sure I'd call her a g-stripe spider, but I don't think she an ordinary spider either.

It would help if anyone else had a g-stripe spider we could see, to find out if they all have the dark belly markings or not.

I bought her as normal spider. She is 900 gram when I got her, and not she is 1100 gram.

Since I saw your pictures, I thought maybe she could be a spider GS? Her head looks a bit different.

    What is she?

    Thanks

Thanks. Mine also has lot orange on her belly. And the seller told me mine came from a spider x spider. I paid a normal spider price for mine.

Maybe the OP can give me some idea what she is. Her head pattern still looks like a spider but body looks the same as the OP's

    What she said

I'm pretty sure it is not a genetic stripe spider. It is a very nice reduced spider though! Sometimes they just get that double dorsal stripe thing going on in the pattern. Here's a less extreme example (he's dark right now because he's in shed):

I've seen others, that are more reduced like yours, the above is just the only example I have on hand at the moment.

Other things that make me think that spider is the only gene at work here:
    1. You bought it as a spider
    2. The breeder said it was a spider
    3. Spider head pattern
    4. Color is off, especially no gray in the sides

Once again, very nice animal! I hope that pattern comes though in the offspring.
