First Dumbos and a weird looking male

I finally got my own litter of Dumbo/het Dumbo rats. Here is a pick of the male

I also produced this strange looking male, anyone have any ideas of what he may be? I do not have any rats in my colony that look like this one

    Another pic of him

Im a rat breeder and i specialize in the exotic kinds (dumbo, odd eyed, blaze, hairless etc) and to me it looks like you bred a PEW (pink eyed white)

If it ends up getting a faint silver hood as it ages then it would most likely be a champane rat because i had that happen to me one time

I know he has albino traits, but he has a skinny neck, and his face is squared off in the front. Also the ears do not sit like a normal rats. I just thought he looked odd as none of his litter mates look like him..other than color.

well he is definantly a standard but if he came from a dumbo litter then he carries a dumbo gene and could also have a slight misplacement of neck or facial bones.

Dumbos tend to have bones positioned differently than standard eared rats and it can either affect their neck creating a hump behind the head or the face could be shaped slightly different but in most cases a slight facial bone difference goes unnoticed

At first look I thought just an Albino myself, but as he grew, he just looked strange. Haha...well, unfortunately I do not need another male (PEW/Albino, hooded, dumbo etc) so this little guy will be going to the snakes. Thanks.

No, PEW and Albino are different things.
Although PEW can refer to Albino, it can also refer to a white rat with pink eyes not caused by the albino gene.
Example, a pink eye colour such as champagne, with high white piebald spotting that covers all the spots. This animal wouldn't be albino, but it would be PEW.

As far as your rats oogly face there. . . LOL.
Dumbo is caused by a skull malformation, which causes the ears to sit differently on the head, so I'd assume that the skull malfomation gene in that rat just got a little too happy, and squished his face in too!

It would be interesting to breed him.
