I am sure you will get lots of buy this or buy that. The real trick is finding what you need not what I need. Sit down and make a list of what matters to you, compare that list to the offerings I am guessing that as you have a Nikon lens you will look there first? Personally I'd put more cash in optics than in body. The bodies in the price point you are speaking of are very similar, marketing and software separate them. You can download the manual for most cameras read it before you go to look at it. Then when you place it in your hand (do that before you buy) you have some clue of how to work it.
