There is no timeline indicating when a snake should shed. Some may only shed a couple times in one year, others may shed each month. It is dependent on the individual snake's growth rate. Snakes shed when their skin has become too small because their skin does not grow and stretch with size, as ours does. If a snake is not growing or gaining weight, it has no reason to shed its skin. As long as your husbandry is spot on and your snake is eating regularly, don't worry about when they should shed. They will once it becomes necessary.![]()
