    Weird kitty habits!

So, how many of you guys have weirdo cats like me?

My female, Cally, will only drink from the watering can for the plants, and will never just dip her face in and drink with her tongue - she ALWAYS has to dip her little paw in and lick the water off her paw It's really cute, although I wonder if she's really getting enough water that way

I don't have any cats, but my mom has two rescues. Valentino was the first one (since our Ivan the Terrible passed away 6 months ago ) and he likes to leap up a little when you pet his head. He prefers when you hold your hand higher than he can reach without jumping, then he jumps onto his back legs and rubs his head down your hand. He does it consistently...and I found it quite odd...

Her other cat (he's new...only been with us for about 2 weeks now)....and discovered that he can run laps on the hardwood floor and slide around at night...
Funny story...I've changed to the night shift, so my son sleeps at my moms while I'm at work, well I don't get back to her place until after 11 at night, and I sleep on the couch. Well Mr. Hutch decided he wanted to run laps after I was ready for bed....well after about the 4th time of running and sliding and scraping his nails across the floor I decided he needed to stop or I'd never sleep lol. Well the 5th time he ran in, I leaped over the couch and yelled "CAT!!!!".....let's just say his legs were moving as fast as possible but he wasn't going very fast...I guess claws don't help with friction on the hardwood floor

    Silly cats

Yeah Ivan was our baby, but he was about 15 years old and we rescued him when he was about 4-5, so he had a nice long healthy life with us. Valentino was invisible for 2 months when we got him, he was SO shy. Never ever ever came out when we were awake. Well now, he's a big lovebug...and even cuddles with her two very large boxers

My 13 lb cat, Paul...will not come unless you say his name or say "FAT!". Then he comes. But his thing is, he thinks he is a dog. He eats their food, he drinks their water, and he sleeps with them. When I take them out to potty, they get a milkbone when they come in.....Paul has to have his little piece of milkbone too, or he will drive you nuts till he gets it. He also drools when you pet him, which is really gross

My cat ("Kitty") is quite strange! She insists on drinking from the faucet in the bath tub, so I have to turn it on for a bit each day. By far the strangest thing she does is headbutt. She headbutts anything and everything. Especially while I'm sleeping and she's craving attention. She'll jump up on my pillow and continuously headbutt me until I wake up, lol.

My cat absolutly craves attention... All the time. As soon as you walk into my parents room (he has to stay there 'cos he used to try and get outside... )

Anyways... His weird habit is licking ears I s'pose its cos we got him at about 5 to 6 wks and the only way he'd eat was over the shoulder since our vet said to keep him on kitty milk a bit longer or something like that.. Now he's in the drooly habit too...

My Dizzy politely waits for an invitation when she wants to sit in a person's lap. SHe'll sit on the floor and stare a hole in your head until you notice her and call her up.

Sumomo is my codependent kitty. She *has* to be in the same room as the people and *has* to know where Dizzy is at all times. When we take showers, she sits on the toilet and pouts, and when we get out, cries for attention as if we've been gone for weeks.
