    that tank is only big enough for a skink, uromastyx, or bearded dragon.
    You would eventually need a new tank for a tegu or monitor, and maybe even a bigger bearded dragon.

    all of those lizards need UVB lighting, but the dragons and the uromastyx both need exceptionally high basking temps. But the uromastyx is cheaper to feed, as it is effectively herbivorous, while dragons are omnivorous and relatively expensive to feed. Skinks are also omnivorous, but not nearly as expensive to feed as dragons.
    The BT skink is the cheapest and most forgiving choice
    The dragon would be more expensive than the uromastyx.
