    Feeding alot.

So i have a BP i got a couple weeks ago and i know your only supposed to feed once a week but my little guy eats a lot. he always eats right away and i feed him one appropriate sized mouse a week but he always wants more. we breed mice and he eats 2 pinkies also through out the week and i beleive he would eat more if he could. he eats the food as soon as i drop it in the feeding cage. is it bad that he eats alot? and should i stoop the little snacks? also, he is growing a LOT faster then his brothers and sisters at the reptile store i got him from. he his noticely larger. thanks :)

So he is eating 3 mice a week? So a meal every 2 days or so? That does seem excessive to me, but i am sure someone with more experience will chime in.

If he wants 2 per feeding then feed him 2 mice but on the same day every 5-6 days. Put at least a few days between feedings for proper digestion.

If he is a baby, I would feed him a mouse or a rat pup every 5 days. I think 2 mice is too much for a small baby. After eating a prey it should cause a small lump, not a giant bulge.

As has been said, he needs to properly digest. Five day feeding schedule for young BPs is recommended. Since you said you breed your own mice, there's no use in suggesting to switch to rats, just be sure you're offering him the right amount of food. A scale is helpful in figuring this out!
