My friend has one that browned out really bad. He was a little disappointed at first but soon noticed the same thing kb1290 pointed out with his snake, she had way more orange and pink as she got darker.

Everything I've read says that its very difficult if not impossible to tell how a snake will look as an adult. It doesn't even seem to matter what the parents looked like when it comes to coloring.
