Help! I had to cut one of my eggs early!

    Hey all.
Day 51 in incubation, and one of my eggs took a turn for the worst. Developing mold spontaneously and rapidly, I cut him open a lottle bit too much! Like the top half of the egg is open and he is making slow movements just hanging out, but I'm just scared and was wondering if I should do anything to help keep the yolk from drying out, or any other precautions I should take. Any help is more than greatly appreciated guys.

    Thank you; Stephen

Add lukewarm water or saline to the egg as need to keep it from drying out. I wonder what would have caused mold to start developing on the egg..?

my eggs always hatch on day 52 so its not a huge concern. i always keep water in containers in the incubator to help hold steadier temps AND if need be i can add it to eggs so the youngsters dont dry out. just leave him be, dont drown him but you can add a little water. leave the water out for 24 hours if its tap water before adding it. this allows the chlorine to evaporate. hope its all right keep us up to date.

I wouldn't worry. Day 51 is not insanely early. He'll be fine.
