    I find that most will not eat. If you feed live keep a close eye on the situation. I learned this the hard way 20+ years ago. When I was about 10 I threw a rat in the tank and went to bed. Woke up the next morning and the rat had eaten several chunks out of the snake. I sure hope that people know better today but this was before the internet and many of us kids with snakes learned a lot of stuff the hard way. The snake lived and I had her for a little over 13 years. Knowing what I know now it's a wonder that the poor snake lived 13 months with all the things I did wrong. The only normal in my collection today is one of her daughters.
