    Boy, we're all jumping on the boa band wagon, lol.... Seriously, she's gorgeous. Congrats!

    I, too, have seen a big difference between my boa and ball. Ella is always hiding. I don't mind 'cause that's what she's supposed to do, but it is great seeing my baby boa poking around her enclosure and she will also come towards me when I open it. She is very relaxed in my hands and seems to truly enjoy being held. And they feel completely different in your hands. Boas really wrap and hold on to you. They use their bodies more efficiently which makes sense as they are more arboreal than balls.

    Boas also seem to make eye contact with you. It's somewhat unnerving. Peaches will rise up and look me straight in the eye as if sizing me up. Then she tries to climb up to the top of my head...
