There's a possibility that their traits won't exactly be passed on to their offspring. So looking at their patterns, blushing, and color and trying to picture what all of their traits combined would look like could be completely pointless if they aren't genetic.

At least to my knowledge what I said makes sense, someone can correct me if I am wrong..

I don't think I'd breed those two together ... That male looks like a nice pastel; I would be concerned that if you breed him to that super-dark female, you might wind up with much darker, browner, uglier pastel offspring.

I'd look for a nice light-colored normal for him (if you just want to produce more pastels), and look for a darker morph for her; something like a cinny or mojave might compliment her better IMO. Actually for her, I think something really dark like a chocolate would be nice.

That is a good point about how dark she is. I would breed her with a morph whose quality isn't based on brightness. I would lean towards a yellowbelly because of the pattern. If you wanted to do a more visual morph, I think a mojave would be a good pick up. There are some neat dark mojaves.

    Re: hhmmmm?

I'd hold her for a mojo, or even possibly a black pastel to see what she'd throw out.

Lol I know, but if you would like to improve on the pastel offspring, I would use a very light and blushed out normal to pair with a pastel. Of course either way, you'd probably get pastel offspring that carried the mothers traits and pastels that carried the fathers traits. Some light, some dark.

Does it really matter if the Normal is Dark or light? I thought normals colors are random and arent genetic.
