I usually wait about 3 days before I offer food. Be sure to offer a small meal the first few feedings to allow the digestive system to get used to processing food again.

    Re: How long after laying

    Hi,

Did you remember to wash her and everything else after you took the eggs away?

I have been known to offer that night after removing them and washing everything down but I normally wait till the next day just to let them settle back down and de-stress.

If it has been a while since she ate start with a smaller than normal prey item so it's a more gently restart of her digestive system. Once you know she is digesting ok then it's fine to feed her back up for a bit.

Watch out though as her feeding response might have gone into hyperdrive.

Laying a clutch turned a shy drop feeder of mine into a strike feeding savage.

I don't offer until after their next shed usually. Before that and it is about 50/50 whether or not they will take food.

She weighed 1789 before she layed.
She laid 7 eggs and probly weighs aout 1000 grams now.
