What ARE you? (spider babies)
I'm thinking they are perhaps garden spiders. I have never seen a just hatched egg sac, but this was definitely what it was. They weren't there, and then I opened the window to smoke 10 min later and BOOM! 200+ spider babies! So cute!
They are bright yellow and black (striped), 1mm or so in size, and look almost like little bumblebees in terms of color and pattern but they are definitely little spiders.
My parents sprayed them with raid because we do have hobos/brown recluse spiders up here, but I did manage to save quite a few of them by scooping a chunk of the web up in a tennis racket, which I set down in the weeds and grass. They are still thriving out there
Do you know what kind of spider this is?

They kinda look like crab spiders, but it would be easier to tell with clearer pictures.

I've seen crab spiders--they're almost a transparent yellow, at least the one I saw...? These little guys aren't transparent at all, very solid but bright colors. Will go try to snap some more.

Crap spiders come in lots of different colors, but if they don't look like little crabs, then they aren't crab spiders.

Re: What ARE you? (spider babies)
Sounds like they could well be what I've heard being called golden garden spiders, like you said. We have them here, they're yellow with black stripes and black legs (though I imagine the legs on such tiny little slings won't go colored for some time) but I'm not a big expert on the "true" spiders, so I could definitely be wrong. They're so cute though!

I'm sad, nobody understands how I think some spiders are cute.
My boyfriend's little brother's friends seem to be creeped out by me now that I tried to show them how jumping spiders and the baby ones I found today are cute in my opinion.
Can nobody appreciate beauty for what it is, even if you're afraid of it?
I'm scared of some spiders, but boy, they still are beautiful.
Anyway, checked on the little guys a while ago--still kicking! Yay!
Still no momma spider. Going to get a flashlight tonight/tomorrow night and go "spider hunting", looking for the reflection from their eyes. Maybe mom is around. Who knows?

Nice! Definitely garden spiders They bring back great memories. When we were young, my brother and I used to collect ants, crane flies, and various critters and make the rounds in our yard feeding all the garden spiders. We had them as big as our thumbs in no time! I always know springs here when they garden spiders start showing back up. It seems like their numbers have really dwindled since I was a kid.

Mom may be dead because of the raid or whatever was sprayed, so I wouldn't hold my breath on that.
What you can do for the little spiders is get some eco earth or coco fiber with a couple of sticks in like a kritter keeper and some grass and keep it damp, not soaking wet though and make sure they're not able to climb that plastic, because some spiders climb very well. The most important thing for baby spiders is to absorb moisture which helps them molt. If you're able to get small crickets like pinhead crickets, you can get some pinhead crickets and crush them up and offer them in the kritter keeper, just put them on like a lid of some sort that's shallow. The little spiders will find the food if they eat. Just make sure they have moisture otherwise they will die.

They're so small--how do I make sure there are air holes but they can't get out? :/ Going to check on them again. Maybe they ska-daddled
