mice vs asf ?
i have a 1000 gram female pinstripe and a 600 gram male pastel. that will only eat mice.
i have tried to switch them to rats with no success. my local supplier has asf's. is there a better chance they will eat the asf over a regular rat?
thanks kirk

Re: mice vs asf ?
Yeah, they should take asfs more readily than rats. However, how hard have you tried to get them on rats? How hungry have you let them get?
How big of rats have you offered? Maybe try a rat that's the same size as a mouse. Then gradually raise the size.

I have an Albino male that had never even been offered a rat before and he went on a hunger strike. Just for a last option I put a rat in his cage and BAM you would have thought it was cover in snake crack or something. I have no clue why his taste buds changed but he still won't touch a mouse but kill a few rats in a heartbeat. Just keep trying.
Too many snakes to list. Ball pythons, Gtp's and Boa's. It easier to say it that way.
