AL Tornados
The last 2 weeks have been pretty crazy I must say, if you had told me then the world down here would get turned upside down cause of the usual "Severe weather" warnings I'd have laughed.
We were pretty lucky to have no home damage, but 5 days without power left me a mess worrying for my animals and trying every remedy I could think of to keep them heated.
Luckily by the grace of God everyone seems okay, and things are finally getting back to normal. Anyone who's donated to AL gets super thanks from me. I know the Birmingham Humane Society is still in need of Donations since they are hard at work reuniting displaced pets.
No real point here. Just felt like sharing.

Re: AL Tornados
I'm glad to hear you're ok. I've been thinking about and praying for our friends in northern Alabama.

Northern alabama got it worse than central. The TVA had one hell of a time and now one of the nuclear plants might get shut down after inspections.

I saw an ef5 go past (the one that started near Hackleburg and went all the way up into madison), it was un-nerving to say the least.
We suffered no damage, but our area is surrounded by damage.

0.0.1 Brooksi x. Goini king.
1.0 Reduced pattern Kenyan sand boa.

YEah I heard Hackleburg got it really bad. I have a friend that used to live in Phil Cambell. When he left he said the town was pretty much gone.

My Father is down there right now for next 5 weeks with FEMA getting everything assessed and payment amounts sorted out to families that had houses flattened.
If you have the money, run to walmart and grab a buddy heater. Their about 70$ and few propane tanks. Turn it on low and keep the room at 85-88 and your golden.
