    Since the yolk has came off, this one might become a picky eater at first but not always.

    In about 5 days i would toss in a live fuzzy mouse over night and see if this gets him kick started. Do not wait for the first shed to come to offer food. If he does not eat the live fuzzy, i would assist feed it for first meal to get something in him since no yolk was absorbed.

    I had a male do this last season and would only eat when i assisted him for 5 feedings then took one on his own.
