I've used vinegar for years on everything, from windows to rats, and now I use it on my tanks and tubs. It isn't toxic at all and the smell will go away very quickly.
They do make reptile disinfectant, I don't know what it's called, but they sell it at the pet store, supposed to be safe for use on any kind of reptile viv...I think it's green for some reason. Bleach also works but is just to dangerous for my comfort zone, I'll use it if someone has died, or has been ill...but I just find that level of disinfecting unnecessary for a regular cleaning.
