i saw my first pastel BP today zomg he was beatiful. i want him so bad! they said he was 2 or 3 years old and they were asking 250.00 is that a reasonable price?! im so in love i would have paid it right then and there if i had it!

For an adult pastel seems like an okay price, if it was female she'd be more lol

I wouldn't pay that for a male. You can get a male hatchling for half that, and you get the joy of raising it from a baby.

Where are you located? That makes a huge difference. Its a bit too much IMHO for anything less than a really bright adult male.

For an average pastel male, it's a tad steep.

If it's an above average male, nice and bright with lots of yellows and lots of blushing, and he's the right size for his age, I'd get him.

I paid $100 for my slightly below average male at 1100 grams. But these prices are hugely affected by locality and availability in your area. Sure you can pick up a hatchling pastel for $100 all day long, but as babies they are really hard to tell which will be knockouts and which won't.
