    In that range, 88-90, you should be ok.

    I provide no extra heat for mine. The room varies from a low of about 76 to a high of about 84, sometimes a tad higher in summer.

    I use AC almost year round so it's always dry. They do have large bowls in their tubs and I am not worried if I spill a bit when I put fresh water in. They also love to soak which also leads to some spillage which I also don't worry much about.

    People think that everywhere in So. America is dripping wet humid 24/7 but it's not. Some parts are very dry during several months out of every year. There are also micro habitats and climates that these guys are easily able to move between.

    Your heat should be ok, let him dry out a bit, a vet visit may be in order especially if he's wheezing. These guys are really tough.
