Ovulation size in correlation to clutch size?

Does anyone have input on the size of a females ovulation and clutches produced? Clutch size of females that go through a gigantic ovulation and clutches from females who had a tiny ovulation?

Ovulation means nothing to how many eggs or the size of the eggs.

Goes by what the female produces which you can palpate and feel how many she will have months before ovulation.

Keep in mind bigger the female doesnt mean more eggs.

Yep yep. I had a girl that had a giant ov, and she's about to lay any day now, but only has 4 eggs.

Then I have a girl that was 2,200 grams going into breeding season, I think I got her up to 2,400 if I remember right, and she only laid 5 eggs for me this year. Last year she laid 7 So you never really know unless you palpate and are good at it! I never saw that girl ovulate this year or last, she may be a smaller ov'er.

    yep, agree with that!

    1900gr - very small ov - 4 eggs
    2200gr - small/med ov - 9 eggs
    2200gr - huge ov - 7 eggs

above clutches not weighed, but all eggs are near enough the same size
