    Definitely be careful when you take your snakes out in public. Some people really hate snakes and they aren't expecting to see one at the park. If you scare/make the right person mad they can get laws passed banning pythons. Just something for everyone to keep in mind! Cedar Rapids banned ball pythons a few years ago, it has a population of 130,000 people. It's not just the small towns you have to worry about! I don't know what the reason was in Cedar Rapids, but all you have to do is scare someone who is, or knows someone on the city council.
