I totally agree. Ella loooved her 1/2 log hide. I know - those aren't the best for BPs. But Ella loooved hers and wouldn't use ANYthing else I tried, so I figured why not? Then I moved her to a 40gal breeder tank because she GREW and picked up a couple RB hides. She abandoned her log the next day.

They really are sturdier than tuperware although the plastic is about the same weight. And they're super easy to clean - dishwasher (I just wash them seperately from MY dishes, lol). They are a bit expensive when you consider how many various hides you can hand make, but if your snake won't use those (like Ella), then they are well worth the money. I'll only use these from now on.
