How long, on average, does it take for them to absorb the yolk after they pip? Ours pipped yesterday at noon, and it's still sitting there in the egg. I thought I've heard on videos that it's about 12 hours...Any info?
What are any signs of a twisted umbilical cord? At what point do you worry about checking for that? We can't really see if it's twisted or not. How would we know, if the snake covers all of it?
I just don't want to go rootin' around in there and mess with it, which would probably make it more likely to twist, or screw up...I hate being a newbie, but gotta start some time...
