i caught this little guy as i was cleaning up stuff gettin' ready for our 1st spring time b-b-q.

this is a southeastern five lined skink. the one i caught looks exactly like the pic. i'm gonna keep it long enough to show off to the rest of my family then i'll release him back out later.
finally... i got to do some field herping haha.

Wow. That is really pretty. I love the iridescent look.

My mom found a baby black snake in our garage last weekend. She is definitely phobic when it comes to snakes. She called me right away to tell me he made it out of the garage safely, and there will be no head chopping.

this little lizard is really cute. i hope i see more around. they need to go set themselves up in my garden, plenty of buggies for 'em there, haha.
