    Beautiful New Milksnake (again!)

Finally getting around to re-posting this thread since the original one was lost when the site had a small conniption fit. She's just too pretty not to share again!

I am blessed to have been able to get this girl from Wes Pollock (wilomn). She is perfect!! Her name is Willow.

Right out of the shipping box...

    Thanks, Juliemay!

By the way...the name "Willow" was chosen by me. Wes is not that narcissistic!

Like I said before, I'm glad you have her. She's a neat one for sure. I'm assuming she's shed by now and is even brighter and shinier. I'm sure she's happy with you.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

If she has, she buried the shed under all that aspen. Yesterday I went to refresh her water (that blue square bowl in the pictures) and found a square snake underneath it. LOL Didn't look like she'd shed yet. I'm gonna give her a few more days and then pull everything out and dig around in the bedding and see if I can find a lost shed.

I've been exploring a bit into the King/Milksnake section here since I'm being given a Nelsons and an Albino Nelsons next month. Just came across this, and I must say that is the most interesting pattern I've ever seen on a milksnake. You're quite lucky.

How do you like your milksnake in comparison to BPs? (if it's even possible to compare them) lol. In reference of course to temperament, required care, and size.

I am a Colubrid guy, and I must say that is one the most unique and beautiful Milk snakes I have seen. The tan against the red and black is just not something you see.

    Thank you for sharing it.

I love my Nelsons. She has never musked, only bit me once when she was a few months old and I had mouse scent on my hand. Very stable personality.
