Has anyone used them? I saw some in Target some time last year before I got some new BPs. I thought about getting a few just to switch things up a little but didn't,... not knowing that I should have anyway. Maybe it was a hintfor what was coming or something,.. I don't know.
One of the BPs I got turned out to be pretty shy and timid for lack of better words. But would take a few shots at me every chance he got,... I'm thinking of naming him after Triggers who I lost last year.

I got him in Feb and couldn't get him to eat until late April. He came with 3 others all from the same Breeder and they didn't waste much time and haven't missed a meal.
I wasn't that worried until he started losing weight and hatch lings can't afford to lose much. My last resort was force feeding him but before that I blocked off three sides of his bin about a week before trying to feed him again. Luckily,.. he took it and has been on schedule ever since.
Hopefully this is something that he'll grow out of but it got me thinking about the colored bins again. For now I'm keeping the dividers between him and the others in place. If not I can keep things the way they are or just give him his own shelf when I have space. Before,.. he would tense up and arch his back like a cat when ever I opened his bin no matter what position he was in. He doesn't arch as much any more but he still tenses up and tries to get a piece of me. Whether he's in his bin or not.
Even if darker bins don't work to reduce the heat signature of the other snakes. They could still be used for aesthetic reasons, a heads up for special needs and or aggressive animals.
