    Ball pythons don't "explore", if your explores that means he/she is stressed. He/she should be hiding a good majority of the time...

    Yeah at night it's normal to relax out of the hide, but that water dish didn't look too big for the tub, I think as long as you have a hide and the water dish he/she'll be happy Hopefully you get that heat tape soon, what country are you in? Especially if it gets cool at night you don't want your snake to get a RI from cool temps.

    i am from malaysia.night temp is around 70-80.not too cool.just suitable for bp.n we dont have 4 seasons,temp is consistent all the year.
