Re: Beginning of our 1st clutch ever! :'(
Great news!! As far as lifting the press-n-seal, I lift it every few days then around day 45/50 I keep a corner pulled back until they pip or I cut. I know others don't lift it at all until the last few weeks of incubation with no issues.

Sucks...
Day 59.
We decided to cut the last 2 remaining eggs. One was still full, with no room to pinch a spot to cut. Candling showed good veins, but only showed a blob in there--which is what made the decision to cut. It turns out it was majorly deformed. There was no way it would ever be able to live. Major kinks, a blob for a mid-section, and more kinks. I can't believe it was even still alive. It was a mojo.
The other is just fine. It looks to be a mojo, too. Hope it comes out of the egg soon.
After all this waiting and waiting, I had to wait some more. I can't take it! I sure love BPs, but I hate this waiting. We have 12 other eggs in the 'bator, and they're all looking great. One more girl due to lay this weekend.
If you want pics of the little deformed snake, I can post them, but they're obviously kinda graphic...
Happy Herping, all.
