Derek, I'm so sorry to see this.It's never easy to lose any animal, but especially the special ones who've been with us over the long haul. They're the critters who put that extra crowing touch on happy days, and make the bad days seem just a little less grim simply by being the amazing animals they are. May we always honor them by giving as unassumingly as they do, without motive or expectation of something in return.
